Bayo Onanuga calls for Peter Obi to control his supporters
Mr Bayo Onanuga, the Chief Spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, has urged the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, to control his supporters. On Friday, Onanuga made the request in a statement posted on his verified Twitter account.

Referring to Obi’s supporters as a “verminous mob,” Onanuga’s statement came in response to a tweet by JJ. Omojuwa @Omojuwa, who claimed that the TIME staff member who wrote the “Bola Tinubu: Most Influential People of 2023” story was being attacked by a notorious headless mob, and had locked her Twitter account.
Onanuga has requested that Obi call his supporters to order before they commit murder in his name. He tweeted, “Peter Obi’s verminous mob continues to embarrass our country because it can’t stomach the reality that he woefully lost the presidential election. Obi should please call these noxious characters to order before they commit murder in his name.”
